Catering requests can be confirmed with a 50% deposit at least 7 days prior to your catering date for guest counts more than 50.

 

2. Where are you located? What are your hours?

We are located at 359 N La Grange Road in La Grange Park, IL, inside “The Dinner Club.” Our kitchen hours vary according to our order and event schedule. Our delivery hours are 12pm – 9pm. If you would like to come visit us please call or email ahead of time to ensure that we will be in the kitchen.

 

 

3. How much is delivery? Can I pick up my catering order?

You may pickup your catering order with prior notification. We are located at 359 N La Grange Road in La Grange Park, IL, inside “The Dinner Club.”  A $50 minimum order is required for catering that is picked up.

Delivery is available and subject to minimum order amounts and fees as follows:

0-5 miles: $50 minimum, $10 delivery fee

5-10 miles: $100 minimum, $20 delivery fee

10-20 miles: $200 minimum, $20 delivery fee

 

 

4. How much food should I order?

How much food to order is always a challenge. You may view our MENU  for guidelines. Keep in mind these are approximations and variances will occur based on what you order and what type of guests / meal you will be serving. If you have questions about how much and what you should order, feel free to call or email us!

 

 

5. Are disposables included?

Yes, disposable plates, napkins, chopsticks, forks, knives, spoons, and appropriate holding containers are all included in the menu price.

 

 

6. How much notice do you need for a catered event?

A good guideline when ordering is the following:

1-49 guests: 1 day prior notice

50+ guests: 1 week prior notice

Many things factor in such as our current catering and event schedule, and in some circumstances we may be able to fit you in for a tighter deadline. For best results, please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible when considering catering for your event.

**ALL CHANGES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING(EMAIL) A MINIMUM OF 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. IF CHANGES ARE REQUESTED AFTER THIS TIME WE WILL ATTEMPT TO ACCOMMODATE BUT CANNOT GUARANTEE THE CHANGE CAN BE APPLIED.

**ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING(EMAIL) A MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. DEPOSITS MAY BE REFUNDED, AT OUR DISCRETION.

 

 

7. How much does it cost to staff and service an event?

If your event requires labor beyond the initial drop off additional charges may apply. We provide staff at $15/hr with a 4 hour minimum. Service charges are applied to the cost of food and vary from 7-18%, depending on the level of service required. Typically, we provide service in three categories:

Drop off: Food is dropped off at your event. No service or staff charges apply.

Drop off Buffet: Food is presented in disposable chafing dishes along with plastic disposable utensils provided and setup by Forbidden Noodles staff. No staff remain onsite after initial setup. 7% service charge + $10 charge per chafing dish apply. No staff charges.

Attended Buffet: Food is presented in stainless steel chafing dishes. Forbidden Noodles staff will setup the buffet, refresh items as needed, and stay until the end of the food service for cleanup and take-down of the buffet. 18% service charge + $15 per chafing dish rental + staff charges apply.

 

 

8. I would like something that is not on your menu!

We’re always open to new ideas. If something is not on our menu but you would like to see if we can make it, please speak with us and we will try to accommodate you! As with any changes or special requests, please give us enough notice before your catering date.

 

 

9. I’m a vegetarian / on a gluten-free diet!

In some cases, vegetarian / gluten free alternatives (for example, veggie pork buns or gluten free noodles) can be arranged. Please give us early notice and we may be able to accommodate your request.
